Desert Access & Mobility’s provides non-emergency transportation to medical appointments, grocery stores, therapy, senior/community centers, personal appointments, mental health services, and errands.

The service is door-through-door, and our program is unique in that we provide responsive services to adults and seniors who are disabled. With a combined handicapped accessible vehicle, our program serves the vulnerable, low-income who do not have the means of transportation.

  • The drivers meet the passenger(s) at their front door, offer to carry packages, push a wheelchair, or lend an arm for balance. At the destination, the driver offers to escort the client into the building to ensure safety.
  • Our services help disabled adults and seniors maintain as much independence and mobility as possible.
  • The services are not limited to non-emergency transportation; adults and seniors can use our services to go to food banks and social events.
  • We serve the cities of Cathedral City, Desert Hot Springs, Palm Springs, Palm Desert, and Rancho Mirage.
